Hardly the most original thing I've ever done, but last year I added a list of favorite album "finds" over the year.  For whatever reason I decided to go with my top five finds.

I'm sitting in our rental home looking at the canal in our back yard.  It's sixteen degrees outside.  The canal is frozen over and the ducks are bouncing and skidding along the ice as they try to land on the water.   Against that backdrop I guess it's never too early to start the 2026 list.  The list is in timeframe order.  I'll also expanded it to a top-ten list starting with an overlooked mid-'60s soul classic.
